Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Al Habtoor Research Centre, welcomed Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub, the world-renowned heart surgeon, at the Centre’s headquarters in Cairo.

During the visit, Dr. Azza Hashem, the Centre’s Research Director, delivered a detailed presentation outlining the Centre’s objectives and key achievements since its establishment, in addition to the ambitious plans it aims to realize in the future.

Sir Yacoub attentively listened to the researchers’ presentations, gaining insights into their working mechanisms and the wide range of research topics the team is focused on. He praised the Centre’s dedicated efforts in advancing scientific research, particularly in areas related to early warning and future foresight. He also stressed the importance of strengthening future cooperation between the Centre and other research institutions to serve humanity and promote peace and stability in the Arab region through research that enhances human health.
