Following two years of continued success at its headquarters in Cairo, the Al Habtoor Research Centre has announced the expansion of its strategic operations with the opening of a new branch in Dubai. This move reflects the Centre’s vision to strengthen its position as one of the region’s leading research institutions and to extend its presence on a global scale.

Dubai was chosen for its supportive environment for innovation and scientific research, as well as its status as a global hub for trade and the economy, and a diverse society that brings together talent from across the world. These factors make it the ideal location to launch the next phase of the Centre’s journey.

The Dubai branch will focus on areas of innovation, scientific research, and medical studies, in line with global trends supporting advanced sciences and modern technologies. It will also work to establish new partnerships with international universities, advanced research centres, and innovation communities throughout the emirate, further consolidating the Centre’s role as a driver of strategic thinking on future-oriented issues.

Meanwhile, the headquarters in Cairo will continue to attract new researchers in the Centre’s core areas of interest, including political and economic studies, as well as the development of early warning systems and strategic analysis programmes. This dual structure positions the Centre as both a regional research hub in Cairo and a gateway to innovation and global engagement in Dubai.

On this milestone, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founding Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, said: “Since establishing the Al Habtoor Research Centre in Cairo two years ago, we have demonstrated our ability to deliver robust studies and analyses that serve our region and support decision-makers. Today, with the launch of the Dubai branch, we open a new window to the world, combining the strength of scientific research with the horizons of innovation, reaffirming our commitment to serving humanity and shaping the future. I am confident that this dual presence, with our headquarters in Cairo and our Dubai branch, will enable the Centre to broaden its horizons and build a research network that brings together leading minds from the region and beyond.”
