Al Habtoor Research Centre, a leading independent think tank focusing on economic and policy research, is seeking to hire an experienced Visual Content Designer with proven experience working with think tanks and research institutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing both print and digital publications, along with skills in video design and editing. This is a full-time position based in Cairo, Egypt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design research reports, policy briefs, books, and presentations in a professional and visually coherent format.
- Create visual content for social media platforms and the center’s website.
- Produce short videos (motion graphics or promotional videos) to highlight the center’s outputs and activities.
- Collaborate closely with the editorial and research teams to ensure consistency between visual elements and content.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within research centers or intellectual organizations.
- Excellent command of design software (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Good knowledge of video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Strong visual sense and understanding of design tailored to academic and policy content.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a dynamic team.
