The Al Habtoor Research Centre (AHRC) is expanding its research team. We invite researchers of all nationalities and from all locations to apply. As part of this expansion, we especially encourage applications from candidates based in the GCC, Europe, and North America.

We seek motivated, forward-thinking individuals with academic or professional backgrounds in Political Science, Economics, Energy Studies, International Relations, Strategic Foresight and Early Warning, Or closely related disciplines.

Ideal candidates will:

• Demonstrate strong research and analytical skills
• Possess a solid understanding of regional and international policy dynamics
• Be committed to producing original, policy-relevant research

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a relevant field
• Proven experience in research, policy analysis, or academic writing
• Strong communication, writing, and editorial skills
• Familiarity with strategic foresight, scenario planning, or data tools is a plus
