Political Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Political Researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in political science or a related field, strong analytical capabilities, and a passion for contributing to impactful policy research. The role involves conducting in-depth research and analysis on regional political trends, producing high-quality reports and publications, and contributing to public events and policy dialogues.

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on political developments.
• Analyze political risks, governance issues, policy changes, and regional dynamics.
• Draft policy papers, reports, and briefs, in both English and Arabic.
• Monitor and synthesize regional and international political trends.
• Assist in organizing roundtables, workshops, and public events.
• Collaborate with researchers, analysts, and external experts on joint projects.
• Present research findings to internal and external audiences.

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related field (required).
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferred).
• 3–5 years of professional experience in political research, policy analysis, or a related role.
• Strong research and analytical skills, including data collection and interpretation.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Arabic.
• Familiarity with the political landscape of the MENA region.
• Experience working in or with think tanks, NGOs, government agencies, or international organizations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with research databases and tools is a plus.

• Experience publishing policy briefs or academic articles.
• Knowledge of strategic foresight methodologies.
